Ilhan Kyuchyuk, Taner Kabilov and Elena Yoncheva will almost certainly become representatives of the DPS in the European Parliament after the elections on June 9, predicts 24rodopi.com.
We remind you that the leader of the list is Jevdet Chakarov, followed by Ilhan Kyuchyuk, Iskra Mihailova, Taner Kabilov, Elena Yoncheva and Tanzer Yuseinov.
The co-chairman of the DPS Chakarov will remain in Bulgaria as a representative from one of the traditional Depesar regions in Northeastern Bulgaria - Razgrad or Silistra. It is expected that Iskra Mihailova will prefer to be a representative of the voters from Pazardzhik in the 50th National Assembly.
With three mandates won, DPS will send to Brussels and Strasbourg the former MEP Ilhan Kyuchuk, the young hope Taner Kabilov and the “transferred” from BSP Elena Yoncheva. DPS strives to win a fourth mandate, and if the goal is eventually achieved, one of the co-chairmen of Mladezhko DPS Tanzer Yuseinov from Targovishte will become an MEP.
