The District Prosecutor's Office in Plovdiv is monitoring pre-trial proceedings for the incident in which an 18-year-old woman, with half a month's experience behind the wheel, ran over two schoolgirls in a parking lot in Sopot. She was detained in custody, Bulgaria ON AIR recalls.
The dazzling girls are 15 years old. One of them has bruises and the other is hospitalized. According to the latest information from the doctors, the patient is in a stable condition, but due to the nature of her injuries, there is a risk to her life.
Medics are making every effort to improve her condition. During the investigation, witnesses were questioned, forensic and auto-technical examinations were appointed, and medical documentation was seized.
"I sent my child away like a doll, I found her like a crushed kitten. She stood under the car for 15 minutes until a jack was found to lift her up. What we know is that he is going to have a lung operation, he has two broken ribs and a crushed pelvis," said the father of the run over child.
