VMRO-DPMNE candidate Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova leads convincingly in the second round of the presidential elections in North Macedonia, dariknews.bg reported.
The difference is more than 2 to 1 for Silyanovska.

According to the first official results from the State Election Commission /DIK/ Silyanovska leads with 62.37% (88,209,923 votes) support against Stevo Pendarovski, nominated by the Social Democratic Union /SDSM/, who has just over 30.35% (42,923).

The constitutional requirement of over 40% voter turnout in the presidential vote was met, which means that North Macedonia has a new president.
